Sam’s Tavern has been Seattle’s favorite tavern for a long time—so long that it may surprise some to know its original form was that of the first Red Robin. The currently creative and active pub was, in its early days, the original Red Robin. Of course when it changed to Red Robin, a few things were altered. However, Sam’s Tavern is open again, and has been growing in business. This bar now has multiple locations, with the latest being opened in Redmond, and all of them offer a delicious menu of food and drinks that are a must-try for Redmond residents and visitors.

Sam’s Tavern prides itself on creative, high-quality food that can stand up against the best in the business. The bar’s atmosphere is light and lively, and the food is designed to match the exciting and excitable patrons which frequent it each day. The burgers are one of the highlights of the bar, and they include vegetarian options, chili burgers, teriyaki burgers, aloha burgers, and, of course, classic cheese burgers. Each of these are also available with different bun options, including a variety of wraps, to make sure your experience is as fun and delicious as you want to make it. Some of our other fantastic bar food options currently include sliders, BLTs, onion rings, nachos, salads, wings, fries, and more. You never have to go without a tasty meal when you visit Sam’s, because our staff is skilled and thrilled to be creating our appetizing masterpieces.
Our beer and cocktail menus offer a varied selection of hand-picked brews. As well, our Bloody Mary was voted one of the 10 best in the country. Our staff is concerned about quality, so each item that graces our shelves is carefully chosen to ensure that our patrons only get the best when they order from us. The refreshing beverages that fill our bar will offer a fun and delicious night to all who drink them. Our staff is licensed and trained, and they put forth the effort every time they walk through our doors to create drinks, food, and an atmosphere that anyone can enjoy. Whether you order our Bloody Mary or a can of Guinness, we’ll care for you so that you only have to care about having a good time.
Remember to stop by for our Happy Hour! From 4 PM till 6 PM, we serve up special treats and fantastic drinks that are almost a steal with our prices. What’s better, you can attempt to take on our Burger Challenge. When you come to Sam’s Tavern, you can try our Challenge and see if you’re capable of eating 4 monster burgers, a basket of homemade fries, and a slider-garnished Bloody Mary. You have one hour to make it up on our wall and get a free t-shirt, but you only have a half hour if you want us to pay for it!
Sam’s Tavern has been Seattle’s favorite tavern for a long time. It’s an awesome space offering award-winning burgers and cocktails in Redmond, Washington. And since it’s also very reasonably priced, Sam’s Tavern is ideal for any casual group hang, especially one that involves drinks. If you like to spend your time outside, this place has outdoor patios that are some of the best in Redmond, with A+ real estate for a nice day. Round up your friends, order a bunch of burgers or chicken strips, and spend the afternoon doing what you do best: eating awesome food and drinking beer or some of the best cocktails in Redmond.

Kayleigh M. gave us 5 stars on Yelp!
Love this place! Food, beers and the staff are great! Adrian is the best (fab lady staff too)!! Can’t believe this is my first review, I come here atleast once a week for lunch! The staff always remembers my order (chicken strips and fries +2 Mannys) which I appreciate. I swear I’m not that predictable. See you next week @samstavernredmond. I’m ordering something new to mess with ya! +1 no kids – sorry this is a bar! Awesome to enjoy my lunch hour with no crying kiddos!!
We’ve got a friend in Joseph D. on Yelp, as his 5-star review was swift and informative.
I called regarding a business matter previously this year. I was impressed with the remarkable customer service facilitated by Tori at the Redmond location (The voicemail box at the Capital Hill location was “full.”). Many thanks and kudos to Tori. Keep her around.
In a general sense, one can expect excellent and attentive customer service from the Redmond location. Sam’s Tavern’s food is consistently on point, and good service can be hard to find. Highly recommend.
Jenny B. was quite excited with their 5 star Yelp review! They even shared some pictures (one of which you can find in the above information about the bar)!
My goodness! Where has this place been all my adult life?!?! Sam’s Tavern is definitely a new Eastside favorite in my book! The food is good, the drinks are strong and the service is great! Add to this location convenience and fun PNW decor and DING, DING, DING! We have a winner!
First came here last month after dinner and a movie at Bella Botega nearby – for the special 30th Anniversary showing of the Princess Bride. Feeling good and nerdy after the movie- we were in too good of a mood to just hop in the car and trek on home. So we Yelped late night vittles and found Sam’s form the street. What a find!
Been there twice now and even though the late night menu is full of goodies- I have yet to stray from the Hazelnut Burger. It is just exceptional! Rich, juicy and nutty topped with all the regular burger fixings: lettuce, tomatoes, onions and secret sauce (pretty sure it’s a house version of thousand island.) But the do-not-forget upgrade is the avocado! Make sure you order the hazelnut burger WITH AVOCADO- it takes a 3 star okayish burger up to 5 stars WOW- what the heck is this avocado hazelnut ambrosia!?!
They have a full bar with lots of local beers on tap as well as a kickass Long Island iced tea- oh and a bunch of other things! Haha! HH drink specials look good – though we have yet to be there during the right hours. Doh!
Only complaint we’ve had so far is the French fries were a little underdone once. They were hot but still very soft. The waiter was all over it and brought us a new fresh basket of hot crispy fries pronto! They were delish!
This place oozes Pacific Northwest class! Shuffleboard, stuffed animals on the walls, Rainier Beer can chandelier! Yep, we’re Washington proud!
