Last week at Sam’s we had a full house for the first week of the new year. It was a tight race all through the game. Lots of trading places, until the final round when “Santa Claus & The Birthday Girl Want Some Lovin’” really took off to run it into the end zone and win the game. Then it was “Trivia Crackheads” outscoring consistently well in all the rounds, but the last, when they took second place. Then in a triumph that has been years in the making, “Bertha’s Back Bitches” got a late Christmas present by winning a pitcher in the music round. With this they become only the second team to enjoy the dubious honor. First time players the “Pawnee Goddesses”, were our Perfectly Average Team.
